A Walk: Boston Common

Nothing introspective, deep, or particularly well-thought going on here. I hosted a photo walk in Boston Common and gathered some fascinating photographs on Kodacolor 100 and Ultramax.

Here are some flash images. Please note that I do not enjoy or appreciate flash photography with wild animals. The flash on the squirrel was an accident and I apologized profusely. I enjoy the way he looks caught red-handed. He knew I was on to him.

Im fascinated by these artifacts of life. I see these scenes as evidence that people have been here or are nearby. Sometimes it’s litter, which isn’t great, but it tells a story.

Birds. Can’t live with them, can’t live without them. I’ve never stopped shooting the geese, I just stopped sharing the photos.

People in action. The woman with the pink balloons was having a birthday! The people on the court may have had a birthday as well, but were much less obvious if so.

This is a closeup of The Embrace.

Images of the News Crews.

This was actually the first image I made that day, a portrait of a very kind woman in orange.

Nothing specifically special, but every moment is more special when given extra attention. I hope you’ve enjoyed! Until next time.
